COVID-19 sanitary measures

ACCESS TO THE INDEX™ EXHIBITION CENTRE

To access the exhibition centre of Palexpo, you will kindly be requested to show a certificate proving:

  • A negative PCR test carried out within the preceding 72 hours or an antigen test carried out within 48 hours

OR

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (your vaccine is valid for 12 months after the 2nd dose and meet the necessary requirements specified on this link)

OR

  • Certificate proving that you have had a coronavirus infection and have recovered. This exemption applies for 6 months from the end of the isolation period (the 11th day after the positive test result).

Hydro-alcoholic gel will be made available to attendees at the entrances and specific points of the exhibition by the Organiser.

Face masks are no longer compulsory in the exhibition hall as a COVID-19 certificate or test is required at the entrance.

 

TRAVELLING TO SWITZERLAND

Rules for entering Switzerland by air:

In the following cases, you are exempt from the test and entry form requirements:

  • You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (your vaccines are valid for 12 months after the 2nd dose and meet the necessary requirements specified on this link)
  • A certificate proving that you have had a coronavirus infection and have recovered. This exemption applies for 6 months from the end of the isolation period (the 11th day after the positive test result).

Please also enquire with your airline whether specific tests are required before boarding.


Rules for entering Switzerland by car:

No special arrangements are required when entering Switzerland unless you come from a country with a worrying variant stated on the list below, when quarantine will be required:

Currently there are no countries on the list of countries with a variant of concern. This means that the Swiss Authorities do NOT impose quarantine on visitors from ANY country.

RETURN TRAVEL TO COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
